Many teenagers ask themselves: How much should I sleep? Why do I feel always tire? Why is it so difficult to wake up inthe mornings?

Most of teenagers need at leat eight hours of sleep every night. You are growing fast and this requires sleeping enough in the nights. It´s also important to be constant on your sleeping habits and try to go to bed and wake up at the same times every day.

How can you improve your sleeping?

  • Sticking to a regular sleeping cycle
  • Avoiding caffeine: sodas, coffee, tea, chocalate.
  • Trying toorganize better your day so you will not need to stay awake late at night doing homework.
  • Finding an activity in the nights that help you calm your nerves and relax, to prepare for bed. For example, you can listen to relaxing music, writting in your journal, or drinking a cup of hot milk.

What helps you sleep good during the night?

For everyone it's normal to feel tire every once n a while. But if you feel tire all the time and this affects your school activities and others; you should visit a health professional. Fatigue can be a sign of anemia (little iron in your blood), hepatitis and other problems inyour body.
