Other names: Adams, Dennis the Menace, Diet Pills, Disco Biscuits, E, Edwards, Eves, Love Doves, Rhubarb and Custards, Vitamins. This is one of the most recent and popular drugs, created illegally with clandestine chemicals. It has the appearance of white dust, pills or capsules.
How does it look like?
Normally it´s a small white pill.
What effects does ecstasy produce?
This drug combines a hallucinogen with a stimulant, which intensifies all your negative or positive emotions. People that consume ecstasy feel a buzzing sensation all over the body and an increase in heart beat. It can also produce dry mouth, increased blood pressure, cramps, and nausea. Some users say they suffer depression, paranoia, anxiety and confusion. You may feel sick and later, when the high has worn off, you feel tired and depressed which can last for a couple of days. Nobody is quite sure what the long-term effects of Ecstasy are, although it has been linked to liver failure and brain damage.
Ecstasy is popular in nightclubs because it makes it possible to dance for a long time without getting worn out. This can be a problem in hot nightclubs because people sweat profusely and lose a lot of water. If they don't drink any water, and especially if alcohol is consumed, then they become severely dehydrated which is similar to suffering from severe heatstroke and is very serious. |
